The Farmer’s Daughter

In the land of the poets where the hyenas prowl, a poor farmer places his hopes in the wisdom of his daughter to answer the riddle of a king. A tale from Somalia.

The Mouse and the Fakir

A fakir lives a life of peace and solitude on the banks of the Surma river until a mouse joins him. A series of metamorphoses ensues casting light on what it means to stay real. A tale from Bangladesh.

A Promise Fulfilled

Cast out for yielding to compassion, Hassan bereft and bedraggled is befriended by another homeless boy whose resolve and knowledge of signs and metaphors opens doors to fortune and fulfilment. A folktale from Palestine.

You become mesmerised submerging yourself in the beautiful stories. @KhayaalTheatre do an amazing job in these technological times: They make you forget about everything else and focus on the moment, on the story while gifting you wisdom wrapped in the shape of storytelling. Thx”
